This policy applies only to tickets booked directly through TheEasyFlyCom.com, and all cancellations are governed strictly by the fare rules and refund conditions set by the issuing airline and consolidator partners.

General Guidelines

All cancellations—both voluntary and involuntary—are subject to the original fare rules of the airline at the time of booking. TheEasyFlyCom.com does not create or modify airline rules. Our responsibility is to interpret those rules accurately and process cancellations in full compliance with them.

Types of Cancellations

Voluntary Cancellation (Requested by Passenger)

If permitted by your ticket type, you may be eligible for:

  • A partial refund (minus airline penalties)
  • Future airline credit (commonly for non-refundable fares)
  • A full refund in exceptional or waiver-based cases

Non-refundable fares typically do not qualify for cash refunds unless:

  • An airline waiver is issued
  • You cancel within the U.S. DOT 24-hour rule
  • Exceptional circumstances apply (e.g., medical or bereavement situations)

Non-Changeable / Non-Cancellable Fares

  • If designated “non-cancellable,” the ticket has no cash or credit value after issuance.
  • We will inform you before booking or upon cancellation request if your fare falls in this category.

Involuntary Cancellation (By Airline)

If your airline cancels or significantly modifies your flight, you may qualify for a:

  • Full refund, or
  • Free itinerary change, per airline policy

TheEasyFlyCom.com will help file required claims and secure all entitlements, providing full documentation.

Consolidator Fare-Specific Rules

As a registered U.S. travel agency working with ARC and IATA-affiliated consolidators, some fares may include additional cancellation-related conditions, such as:

  • Non-refundable consolidator service fees
  • Mandatory refund submission deadlines (e.g., within 12 months of issuance)
  • Required documents (ticket copies, ID, etc.)

These rules will always be disclosed before cancellation is processed.

Timeline for Refund Processing

Once your refund request is approved by the airline or consolidator:

  • Airline processing time: 7–21 business days
  • Consolidator remittance (if applicable): 5–10 business days
  • Bank/credit card posting time: up to 10 days depending on your bank
